A Marvel

A well-developed piece of flash. Literally, there is no such thing as linear play in this. That is what an RPG should be. The exploration involved is what creates the RPG that swells in richness.

This game had so many different nodes and whatnot, but together, I thought it'd be as confusing as hell. Yet, they somehow made a perfect harmony within the game. Everything seemed to make sense, and every aspect seemed to be a little more fun.

Everything about this flash blooms in the rich, albeit, neglected side of 8-bit games.

Almost nobody understands that no matter how pixelly a game is, it's the heart of the game; the plot and gameplay, that makes a game outstanding. What fun is realistic 3D graphics if the game's just the same old boring things over again?!

Short, but sweet

What's very lovely about this game is the way you gain EXP. Three ways is better than one. The water effects were astounding and the designs of the characters was good.

This is just like Phun, but simpler

I love this because I can play it. I couldn't do anything on Phun because it was just so goddamn complex. This, on the other hand is very easy to understand and is very enjoyable.

Very well made

The AI is very complex and in some cases, lifelike, and the partical effects are astounding. If you can manage to make this into a multiplayer game, I believe you have yourself a very sweet treat for the internet.

In techniqual terms, it IS a movie

I found this flash pretty interesting. I suggest adding much, much more and adding incremental maximum angles (First segement max angle 5, second 10, 15, 20, etc.)The trunk frankly, was bent like a contortionist.

You can make leaves fall once in a while, add a weather feature, animal encounters, items, and a score for how large your tree is before it gets cut down or whatever, status ailments that cause the tree problems or benefits, and maybe even the ability to make generations of trees to speed up your scoring!

Why is this actually considered a movie? It is because in general terms, movies lack interaction and your flash had that feature. Your flash is what I call an actionscript movie.

i like that "actionscript movie", but any way i have the enigine for grow a tree 2 pretty much done, it may include weather, no animals, no score, different trees and i like the sprouting idea. But as for wind, i don't know.
